Methodological flow chart of the steps that were followed to study habitat selection and movement of brown bears. Steps 1–3 involve the development of a habitat suitability model. Steps 4–6 involve the contraction of movement network by using inter-connected patches as the nodes and the application of Markov chain for assessing movement among different patches.
